Description
Teddy Rosé from the 9th Steiff Festival in Giengen 2005. Limited to 3,000 pieces. Handmade in Germany by Steiff. This is number 01301. EAN 655845.
Teddy Rosé is made of finest light pink mohair, and based on the pink-coloured Teddy Bear that was made between 1925 and 1928 with the article number 5330, 1 K, which formed the basis for the Teddy Clown and is today one of the most sought-after Steiff rarities.
Teddy Rosé is fully jointed and filled with wood shavings, and has a squeaker. She (I think of this particular teddy as a girl) has a brown hand-sewn nose and claws, and big brown glass eyes with black pupils. On the left foot-pad is the Festival details embroidered. Teddy Rosé is very beautiful, very feminine. She is measuring 44 cm / 18 inches. She comes in perfect condition with the famous gold-plated button in ear, label and white red tag still attached. On the breast is the tag with Elephant with S-trunk-logo attached. The Giengen Festival bears come without boxes, but with a small, blue certificate booklet.
This bear has been living in a non-smoking environment, and has had only one grown-up owner/collector. Teddy Rosé is now looking for a new loving home.
This is a collector’s item.
