Music Bear “Your Teddy Bear”, designed by Jacqueline Revitt and handmade in 1997 by Merrythought, Ironbridge, Shropshire, UK in a limited edition of 500 pieces. This is number 111. The certificate is also marked I020BM.

The inspiration for this nice and friendly bear, with the big wide eyes, came from the song “Your Teddy Bear”.

This is a music bear, i.e. he has a music box inside playing the “Your Teddy Bear” song in a soft version. The music plays when you turn the disk on his back. He is made of luxurious brown mohair with a lighter shade on his paws and muzzle. His hand paws are made for hugs. 🙂 He has big brown glass eyes, widely set a part, a hand-sewn nose and the Merrythought label sewn onto his right foot pad. He wears a white bow with some of the lyrics written on it. He comes in perfect condition with all tags still attached. These Merrythought bears come without boxes.

This lovely teddy bear has been living in a non-smoking environment and has had only one grown-up owner. He is now looking for a new loving home.
