Stunning “Sandey” by Steiff. 5th Festival of Giengen Bear year 2001. Limited edition of 3,000 pieces. This is number 551. Sandey is the first family member in the “Zotty-like Family Series” by Steiff for the Giengen Festival. Later bears in “the family” are Candey, Daddey and Mommey. Handmade in Germany. EAN 655579. White tag and button in ear trademark. Paper tag on chest still attached. Certificate. (The Giengen bears come without boxes.)

Sandey is made of finest smokey blue long-haired mohair with white chest and grey blue-ish felt pads. He has a “Zotty” open mouth. Smokey blue muzzle with black details and black emboidered nose. Black claws. Black shoe button eyes with grey felt on bottom. Blue bow. Growler. Embroidered in blue on left foot pad is 5. Steiff Festival Giengen 2001.

Measures approx. 30 cm / 11,8 inches. This is a very rare bear!

Sandey is part of a private collection. He is now looking for a new loving home.
